Charlotte, NC - October 9, 2012-- NASCENT Technology (NASCENT), the
leading technology solutions provider to the Intermodal Transportation
Industry, has announced that it expects third quarter earnings to exceed expectations.
"North American intermodal rail traffic continues to be robust and demand for our Automated Gate System (AGS) solutions remains strong through the remainder of the year," said Fabio Teti, NASCENT President and CEO. "On the port side, we’re delighted to have been awarded AGS deployments at four major shipping terminals in North and South America. We believe that the improvement in traffic coupled with the decision by the ILA and USMX to extend their negotiations signal a cautiously optimistic outlook for 2013. Heading into the fourth quarter, we’re enthusiastic about our solutions and confident in our ability to enhance our clients' productivity by improving throughput, safety, and security at their facilities. In summary, I'm grateful to report that the outlook for the fourth quarter remains solid," added Mr. Teti.

NASCENT expects to deliver and deploy more of its SYNAPSE™ AGS G6 Kiosks in the upcoming months than any prior NASCENT kiosk deployed in the previous fifteen years of operation combined.
"Anytime a company posts positive results prior to a product launch event, its invigorating," stated Dave Lambacher, NASCENT Business Development Manager. "We're expecting a great customer turnout for ConneXions this year and I’m certain that the solutions we’ll be discussing will be positively received for deployments in 2013,” continued Lambacher.
"At this year's ConneXions, we
decided to add break-out sessions that allow our customers, and other guests to
hear and discuss current technology innovations, operational best practices,
and potential solutions to current issues of our industry. Based on the topics and attendees, I expect
lively conversation and a genuine exchange of ideas," said Lynda Parillo,
NASCENT Project Director.
"We're grateful for a successful
quarter, excited about the opportunities ahead, and eager to meet with industry
leaders at our product launch," concluded Teti.
